Vectorworks Architect 2012 –Better BIM

As BIM technology matures across the Design industry, Nemetschek has significantly improved the capabilities of Vectorworks Architect to ensure that collaboration is more efficient and more productive. Stories are now part of the Vectorworks Architect toolkit.

New BIM features include the addition of Stories to Vectorworks Building design – you can express the elevation of a layer in relationship to the story of a building – when you edit the story elevation, all releated layers adjust too. IFC support has also been upgraded as this openBIM standard has matured.
